The 28th Conference on Transdisciplinary Engineering (TE2021)

Transdisciplinary Engineering for Resilience:  Responding to system disruptions

Hosted by the University of Bath, UK (5-9 July 2021)

We are delighted to announce that the 2021 annual Transdisciplinary Engineering conference will be hosted by the University of Bath, UK.

As the uncertainty around travel continues, we have taken the decision that TE2021 will be held virtually. Making this decision early ensures that we can focus on delivery and on exploring innovative ideas to maximise interaction, enjoyment and benefit to the community. As in previous years the Conference Proceedings will be published as open access.

Although we have decided to take the virtual route, we are mindful (and hopeful) that circumstances may have changed by July. With this in mind we are hoping to organise a one day ‘real-world’ event which will run alongside the virtual conference. In this way if travel restrictions are lifted there will be an opportunity for our international community to come together. Those registered to attend the conference will be eligible to attend this one-day event at no charge.

The deadline for abstract submission is 19th January. For further details and/or to submit an abstract go to the TE2021 conference website.

If you have any questions, would like to propose a workshop, or sponsor an event, please contact Susan Lattanzio (email SL2091@bath.ac.uk).

TE2020 – successfully finished!!

The virtual conference TE2020, organised by Warsaw University of Technology, has been a success. In total 189 accounts have been registered for 9 sessions. The keynote sessions have been well attended, too. We thank the people from Warsaw for their hard work. The TE conference as a virtual conference has been a new experience. We have learned a lot for the future, in which virtual meetings might be indispensable.
